CALL FOR NOMINATIONS – SOCCER NOVA SCOTIA BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Nominations Committee of Soccer Nova Scotia is seeking qualified candidates to play a role on the Board of Directors in the stewardship of the organization governing soccer in Nova Scotia. 
 
Some of the areas of expertise for which the Nominations Committee is looking include: executive level human resources, finance, law and risk assessment.  Individuals with a desire to make a contribution to the growth of the Association, who do not have experience in areas noted are also welcome. The primary criteria are a genuine interest and commitment to contributing to the governance of the game for the betterment of the Association. The Board’s focus will be on governance and strategic issues, with the operational issues managed by the Soccer NS office.
 
Nominations are due to Soccer Nova Scotia by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, April 5, 2017.  The slate of nominees shall be nominees for the positions of Officers and Directors at the Annual General Meeting on Sunday, June 4, 2017.
